YOU wallet — Help

We are a small team in Berlin. Write to us if something does not work or if you have a question:

info@kunstbau.berlin

We reply in German and English, usually within two working days.

Never send us your recovery phrase or a private key. We never ask for them. Anyone who asks for them wants your money — even if they claim to be us.

When you report a problem

What helps us most: which iPhone and which iOS version, which version of the app (shown under “More”), what you did, what you expected and what happened instead. If it is about a transaction: the transaction ID (the long string in the history) — it is public and reveals nothing about you.

Frequently asked questions

I have lost my recovery phrase. Can you restore my wallet?
No. This is not unwillingness, it is the heart of the matter: the phrase is created on your device and never leaves it. We have never seen it and cannot reconstruct it. Without it the funds are out of reach for good — for you and for everyone else.

My balance is not shown.
The six chains are queried one after another; after launch this can take a moment. Check that the right account is active (tap the account name at the top). If a tile permanently shows a dash, the node provider cannot be reached at the moment — your coins are not affected by that, they are on the blockchain and not in the app. Close the app and open it again; if that does not help, write to us.

I sent to a wrong address.
A confirmed transaction cannot be taken back — by no one, not by us either. If you know who owns the address, you can ask that person to send the funds back. Otherwise the funds are lost. That is why the app shows recipient and amount before every approval: read them calmly.

How do I set up my wallet on a new device?
Install the app, choose “Restore wallet”, enter the twelve or twenty-four words in the right order. The balances then appear on their own. If you had several accounts, create them again with “Derive another account” — they get the same addresses as before.

Which fees apply?
The app itself is free. For every transaction the respective blockchain charges a network fee; it goes to the network, not to us. It is shown to you before you approve.

Why does the app ask for Face ID with every transaction?
Because it has to fetch your private key from the keychain to do so. Without your approval that does not happen — not even when someone holds your unlocked phone in their hand.

Which blockchains do you support?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Dash. More are planned.

Do you collect data about me?
No. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising. What exactly happens on your device and on our server is described in the privacy policy.
