Terms of Use for YOU wallet
Last updated: 20 September 2026
1. Who we are
YOU wallet is offered by Munzing GbR, Neumagener Straße 24, 13088 Berlin, Germany, represented by the partners Michael Münzing and Franz Münzing, e-mail info@kunstbau.berlin. These terms govern your use of the app.
2. What the app is — and what it is not
YOU wallet is software for holding crypto-assets yourself. Your recovery phrase and your private keys are created on your device and stored there. We do not know them, cannot read them and cannot restore them.
We do not hold crypto-assets for you. We hold no balance, we keep no account for you, and we cannot initiate, change or reverse a transaction for you. Every transaction comes about because you approve it on your device.
We do not advise you. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold a crypto-asset. Prices, calculations and previews are without obligation and can be wrong.
3. Swapping
The app can help you create transactions for public, decentralised protocols on the Solana blockchain. These protocols are not operated by us. The counterparty to your swap is not us, but the protocol in question and the funds other participants have placed there.
We do not receive orders from you. The app creates a transaction, shows it to you, and you approve it. It is then sent to the public network.
4. Our fee
For using the swap function you pay us a fee of 0.30 % of the amount you swap.
You owe this fee to us, Munzing GbR, for using this function of our app. It is not a payment from a third party to us. We receive no remuneration, no revenue share and no other benefit from the protocols used, from trading venues or from third parties for your using our app or for your swap running through any particular protocol.
The fee is shown to you in its exact amount before you approve. It is collected in a separate transfer after your swap has been confirmed on the blockchain. If the swap fails or you cancel, no fee is due. If the fee cannot be collected for technical reasons, we carry out the swap free of charge and claim nothing afterwards.
There are no refunds, because transactions on the blockchain cannot be reversed.
The network fees of the blockchain and the fees of the trading venues and protocols used are not our fee.
We show you the network fees in separate lines before you approve. We do not itemise the fees of the trading venues and protocols; they are already accounted for in the exchange rate shown and in the estimated amount you receive. Before you approve you therefore always see exactly which amount you give and which amount you can expect to receive.
Sending and receiving on all chains is free of charge.
5. What you have to take care of
You alone are responsible for your recovery phrase. If you lose it, access to your crypto-assets is lost for good — recoverable by nobody, including us. If you pass it on, the recipient can dispose of your crypto-assets.
You are responsible for making sure the recipient address is correct. Transactions are final; crypto-assets sent to a wrong address are lost.
You are responsible for using the app only as far as that is permitted where you are, and for meeting your tax obligations yourself.
6. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.
In cases of simple negligence we are liable only where we have breached an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper use of the app possible in the first place and on whose observance you may rely, and only up to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
We are not liable for price developments, for decisions you take, for the behaviour of the protocols and networks used, for outages of third-party services, or for losses arising because you lose your recovery phrase or pass it on.
7. Availability and changes
We do not owe uninterrupted availability. We may develop the app further and change or discontinue individual functions. Your crypto-assets are unaffected by this: they sit on the blockchain and remain reachable with your recovery phrase in other wallet software as well.
If we change these terms, we will show you the new version the next time you start the app.
8. Governing law and place of jurisdiction
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where you are resident remain unaffected. The German version of these terms is the binding one; this English text is a translation provided for convenience.
